Winter Camp 2009

This years winter camp was held at Lee Canyon on Mt. Charleston just outside of Las Vegas, NV. We took to the mountain late Friday afternoon and left behind our 70 degree temperature and cell phone service for snow ice and one phone in the kitchen that makes local calls only. We had a amazing time on Friday night after getting settled in with an incredible worship service. Saturday was the day we reserved for people to go snowboarding and soon people realized if they didn’t go snowboarding there best bet was to group up in the kitchen area and hang out for the warmth. After the day ended we got together one more time to watch a drama and worship God again. I am very pleased with our leadership team, staff and volunteers for all the hard work they put in to see this camp happen. We have come a long way in the past four months and this camp only makes me more excited for the possibilities from here on out.
